100th Anniversary Commemorative Patch
The SFBAC has released Council Shoulder Patches and an Order of the Arrow Flap to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. The order form for these patches can be found here [1].

Need Help with Summer Camp Fees?
Camperships are applications for financial aid. Our Campership funds are obtained mainly through two sources: The Guardsman and private donations. To apply a campership application needs to be filled out. Instructions and application can be found by clicking here. [2]

Venturing Age/Grade Eligibility Change
The National Executive Board recently approved a resolution to change the eligibility requirements for Venturing to ensure consistency among Venturing, high-adventure bases and other core programs. Effective May 1, 2010, the minimum age requirement will be changes to 14 years of age, or 13 years of age and completeion of the eighth grade. The maximum age for participation remains under 21 years of age. Other information is posted at www.scouting.org/venturing [3].

Great Resource for Cub Scout Volunteers
The following link provides access to a simple Cubcast "widget". Cubcast is a monthly online audio podcast for volunteers, providing terrific insights on ways to help deliver a quality Cub Scout program.

Every Scout deserves trained leaders. With Wood Badge training you will:
• Gain a better understanding of Scouting's programs.
• Get a MUCH better understanding of leadership and useful tools for the challenges you face as a Scout leader.
• Set achievable goals in your primary position.
• Have fun, make new friends and enjoy your Scouting job more.

National Scouting Museum Oral History Project
The National Scouting Museum invites you to share your Scouting memories and stories with the museum. Please see attached flyer [6] for details. also, feel free to distribute these flyers to anyone else that you think might have an interest in the program.
